ProEdge Operations LLC ("ProEdge Operations," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit the proedgeflight.com website or use the ProEdge Flight Systems platform (together, the "Service"). This policy applies to all users of our Service, including prospective and active design partners, operators, and authorized personnel.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information in the following ways:
Information you provide:
- Analysis request and contact details (name, business name, email address, phone number, role, and your answers to the fit screen)
- Account registration details for design partners (name, email address, role, password)
- Operator information (fleet size, aircraft types, operating authority, regions of operation)
- Operational data you load into the platform (trip records, crew records, maintenance records, customer or broker records)
- Communications with our team
Information collected automatically:
- Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, time and date of access)
- Device information (device type, operating system)
- Usage data and feature interaction events
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 5)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the Service
- Respond to analysis requests and design partner inquiries
- Authenticate users and maintain account security
- Send platform updates, maintenance notices, and feature announcements
- Send product news to users who have consented (see Section 10 of our Terms of Service)
- Analyze usage patterns to improve the Service
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share information with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating the Service, subject to strict confidentiality obligations. These include:
- Vercel: website and serverless function hosting
- Airtable: secure storage of analysis request and inquiry records, managed by ProEdge Operations
- SendGrid: transactional email delivery
We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ProEdge Operations, our users, or others.
4. Data Retention
We retain analysis request and inquiry records for as long as is reasonably necessary to evaluate, follow up on, and onboard prospective design partners. For active design partners, we retain account data for the duration of the engagement and for 90 days following termination to allow for account recovery and audit. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us at privacy@proedgeoperations.com. Some data may be retained longer where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain session state, remember preferences, and analyze usage. Specifically:
- Session cookies: required for authentication and security (httpOnly, secure)
- Preference cookies: remember your UI settings
- Analytics cookies: help us understand how the platform is used (anonymized)
You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but some features of the Service may not function correctly without them. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
6. Your Rights
You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
- Access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction: request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements
- Portability: request an export of your data in a machine-readable format

7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption for sensitive data at rest, httpOnly secure refresh token cookies, bcrypt password hashing, and role-based access controls. We conduct periodic security reviews and respond promptly to identified vulnerabilities.
Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use strong, unique passwords and to report any suspected security issues to security@proedgeoperations.com.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use by adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently received such information, we will delete it promptly. If you believe we have collected information from a minor, please contact us at privacy@proedgeoperations.com.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice within the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
